Mt. Trashmore to undergo improvements

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Mouth Trashmore Park will undergo trail improvements beginning this month.

According to the City of Virginia Beach, improvements to the asphalt multi-use trail will be made and state-of-the-art fitness stations will be added to enhance users’ workouts.

The City says the project should be completed by the Spring.

The trail will be expanded to 12’ and renovated. An additional trail connection will be built to link the trail around Kids Cove playground to the lakeside trail.

The fitness stations that will be added will provide low-impact circuits and high-impact circuits.
