Man wearing neon shoelaces robs bank

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Virginia Beach Wednesday afternoon is on the run.
According to police spokesman Jimmy Barnes, the suspect entered the bank at 6563 College Park Square just before 4 p.m. He was armed with a handgun, but there are no injuries reported.
Police say the suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black and green baseball hat with a sticker on the brim, a black jacket with silver buttons, blue jeans and black shoes with neon laces. He was last seen running toward Auburn Drive.
