VIRIGNIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A groundbreaking for a new Kroger Marketplace in Virginia Beach was held Thursday.

The Marketplace will include groceries as well as home decor goods, only the second of its kind in Virginia. The 124,000 square-foot store, located on Holland Road, is scheduled to bring 400 jobs to the area when it opens in the summer of 2013.
