Gabby Douglas to greet fans today

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - In an effort to combat texting and driving, two-time Olympic gold medal winner and Virginia Beach native Gabby Douglas will take part in an event on Sept. 18.
Douglas will meet with fans at the AT&T Retail Store located at 4725 Virginia Beach Blvd. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to encourage them to take the “It Can Wait” pledge against texting and driving.
The event is free and open to the public.
