One killed in Virginia Beach crash

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - One person was killed in a head-on crash along Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach Wednesday morning.

Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the crash occurred just before 7 a.m. in the 400 block of Princess Anne Road near Back Bay Landing and Fitztown Road.

One vehicle was traveling northbound and another traveling southbound when they collided head-on. A female victim traveling northbound was killed, Moyers said. Her identity has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
