VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police continue to investigate an altercation between two Texas Roadhouse employees that left one suffering from stab wounds Sunday night.
According to Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department, officers responded to the restaurant located in the 4300 block of Silverleaf Drive for a report of a fight in the parking lot just before 9 p.m. There, officers found a male victim suffering from several stab wounds.
Further investigation revealed two subjects were involved in a verbal altercation earlier in the day. That argument then escalated in the parking lot when two people assaulted the victim. Moyers said the victim then stabbed one of the subjects.
The stab wounds are not life threatening, Moyers added.
Witnesses on scene told WAVY.com Sunday night those involved in the fight were employees of the restaurant.
At this time, detectives are consulting the Commonwealth Attorney's Office for any appropriate charges.
The case remains under investigation.
