Donations accepted for Mayfair Mews

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Anyone wishing to make donations to those affected in the jet crash that destroyed several buildings at the Mayfair Mews Apartments now have a place to do so.

According to the City of Virginia Beach, the Virginia Beach Human Services Department is accepting monetary donations for residents displaced in the crash.

Checks should be payable to the Virginia Beach Human Services Department and mailed to 3432 Virginia Beach Boulevard, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452, attention: Accounts Receivable.

The checks should include a notation for Mayfair Mews Relief Fund in the memo line.

Anyone wishing to contribute or residents of Mayfair Mews who have questions or need additional assistance should call Wendy Swallow at 757-385-3428.
