VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A man died after his car veered off the road and hit a tree along Princess Anne Road, near Providence Road in Virgnia Beach Saturday.
A police spokesperson said just before midnight, 27-year-old Bryan Hawk of Chesapeake crossed over into oncoming traffic, then went off the road and struck a tree. Hawk was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was hurt.
Police say Hawk was not wearing a seatbelt and speed was not a factor.
