VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A Virginia Beach man who stopped at a local gas station to get his brakes checked bought a lottery ticket while he was waiting for his car to be serviced and is now $100,000 richer.

According to officials with the Virginia Lottery, Joshua Morin had taken his pickup truck to Shore Drive Shell, 2900 Shore Drive. While he was waiting, he ended up purchasing a winning ticket for the lottery's Cash 5 Game.

Morin says he plans to pay off bills with his winnings.
