VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Family and friends of Norfolk police officer Victor Decker gathered Monday to hold a benefit for his family.
There was food, fun, and entertainment at the beach bash at First Landing State Park.
Money from the $25 admission, silent auction and raffle went to a Memorial Fund for Decker's widow and baby girl.
The group that hosted the event also hopes to keep awareness on the unsolved case.
Back in October 2010 someone found Decker, who patrolled downtown Norfolk, shot to death on Oceana Boulevard in Virginia Beach. He was 25-years-old.
