VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Officials said a sixth grader threatened fellow students with a knife or box cutter Monday.
According to Jennifer McCarrel with Virginia Beach City Public Schools, the student threatened a group of fellow students at Kempsville Middle School before school started March 4.
McCarrel said parents were notified of the incident by Tuesday and disciplinary action was taken with the student.
