Truck spills hazardous material on road
Westbound lanes of Route 10 closed

ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - A gas truck overturned spilling hazardous material on Route 10 in Isle of Wight County Tuesday morning.
The tank became detached from the truck around 9:40 a.m. on Route 10 at Tan Road, according to Virginia State Police Sgt. Michelle Anaya
Virginia Department of Transportation and HAZMAT crews also responded to the scene.
The westbound lanes of Route 10 are completely closed.
Eastbound lanes will be made into a two-way traffic zone during the investigation and clean up.
