SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk police are looking for a robbery suspect with a specific taste for top shelf alcohol.

Officials tell WAVY.com the suspect busted in the front door of an ABC store, located in the 800 blk. of Constance Road on January 31 and headed straight for the bottles of Cognac, valued at $179 per bottle. To his surprise they were only empty display bottles.

Surveillance video captured the suspect in the act, as he then moved to the $49 bottles of Ciroc Vodka and loaded up his bag with nine one liter bottles.

Officials said it took the suspect just over a minute to rip off the alcohol and flee the store.

Police have described the suspect (shown left) as a black male 25-35 years of age, 5'8" - 5'10" with an average build between 160-180 pounds. During the robbery he was seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt under another gray hooded sweatshirt with faded blue jeans. He was wearing dark colored boots and also wore dark green, cloth gloves and a black ski mask with sunglasses. The suspect was carrying a royal blue duffle/gym bag with what appears to have white symbols/writing on the sides.
