Scene of the Wells Fargo bank robbed on 12/22/12

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A robber held up the Wells Fargo Bank in Ghent Saturday morning.
Norfolk police spokesman Chris Amos said the robber entered the bank in the 2000 block of Colonial Avenue at 10:36 a.m. The suspect handed the teller a note indicating he would shoot if not given money.
The suspect got away with an unknown amount of cash.
Witnesses told police the robber fled the area in a green-colored, older-model car.
Police have identified the suspect as 44-year-old Demetrius Lockhart. He was last seen wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt with Nike written across the chest in large lettering.
The bank surveillance camera captured images of Lockhart.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lockhart should call 911 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
