SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old girl.

Quanisha Baker, a black female age 14, height 5'7", weight approximately 112 lbs., was last seen on October 16 in the area of Nansemond Parkway, according to Diana Klink, Suffolk Media and Community Relations Manager.

The detective working this case said there is no reason to suspect foul play. The girl left after a disagreement with her mother, and this is the first time she's left home, according to Suffolk spokesperson Debbie George.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Suffolk Police Department at 923-2350.
