SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk fire investigators still don't know what caused a residential fire on Pruden Boulevard Wednesday morning.

The call came in around 2 a.m. Wednesday. Crews were able to contain the fire in about two hours, fire officials said.

Parts of Route 460 were shut down due to the fire, but was reopened in time for the morning commute.

No one was hurt in the fire and according to officials, the elderly man who lived at the home was out of town when the fire broke out.
