SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Officials say a 12-year-old boy brought a razor blade to school Monday.

According to Debbie George with the City of Suffolk, the principal of Turlington Woods School found the razor blade in the front watch pocket of the student's front watch pocket of his pants.

George said no threats were made and the student never displayed the razor.

The incident remained under investigation Tuesday pending petitions being secured by an officer.
