SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - According to Debbie George with the City of Suffolk, a possible fox may have attacked a man on Feb. 2.
Police say the man was standing near a dumpster in the 100 block of Nancy Drive when something jumped out of the dumpster and scratched him. At the time, the man thought it was a cat.
A friend told him that the animal was a fox instead, so he proceeded to the hospital where he was treated for scrapes to the left side of his torso.
George says no foxes were located in the area.
