SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk police are looking into a traffic stop made in the city by a Portsmouth firefighter.
Police say, just after 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 24, a patrol officer saw a an unmarked vehicle with flashing blue lights that had pulled over another car at the intersection of Pinner Street and Finney Avenue.
According to city spokeswoman Debbie George, a Portsmouth firefighter, driving a city car, made the traffic stop.
Suffolk investigators are working with the Commonwealth's Attorney's office to see if the firefighter will face charges.
