SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A new Goodwill retail store is opening in Suffolk this week.
The store, opening February 2, will be Goodwill's third location in Suffolk, according to a city news release.
The 15,000 square foot store will be located in the Market Center at Harbourview at 6540 Hampton Parkway, off College Drive.
The store will sell clothing, electronics, refurbished computer equipment, toys, books, house wares, furniture, and home accents.
Store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The release said last year, Goodwill transformed gently used clothing and other items into career development and support services for more than 15,000 people.
Mayor Linda T. Johnson, along with Goodwill representatives, will host a ribbon cutting event scheduled for 8:45 a.m. on February 2.
