Diesel spill in accident closes lane

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A three-vehicle accident in Suffolk Tuesday closed down one lane of Route 58 westbound for the majority of the afternoon.
According to Tim Kelley with the City of Suffolk, the accident involving a tractor-trailer occurred shortly before noon Tuesday on Route 58 westbound, causing an active diesel spill.
One of the westbound lanes remained closed until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday due to recovery and cleanup.
