City: BB gun found in student's locker

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A BB gun was found inside a Suffolk middle school student’s locker Friday morning.
Debbie George with the City of Suffolk told WAVY.com someone told an administrator at Kings Fork Middle School that a student may have had a BB gun in his locker.
Officials placed the school on lockdown and the locker was searched. George said the gun was found inside a 14-year-old’s locker.
George said the school handled the issue internally and petitions are being secured by police.
