SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police said residents were inside their home when a bullet entered through a front glass window.

The shooting occurred Feb. 3 around 5:40 p.m. at a home off Holland Road, according to Suffolk spokesperson Debbie George.

George said the bullet entered through a front window, traveled through two panes of glass and landed in the area of the living room and kitchen.

The shot is believed to have come from the area of the woods.

According to a report from police, the victims were almost struck by the bullet as it penetrated the glass window.

No one was hurt.
