Police searching for suspects

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk police are looking for a suspect accused of robbing the Southern Food Store, located in the 2100 blk. of North Main Street on February 25.

Police say the suspect displayed a knife and threatened the clerks. He then allegedly reached over the counter, grabbed some money from the register and fled the scene.

The suspect has been described as a black male with a tall, thin build. During the incident, witnesses say he was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and was wearing a purple bandanna across his face.
