WACHAPREAGUE, Va. (WAVY) - State Police are investigating another fire on the Eastern Shore after an unoccupied structure caught fire Saturday night.
State Police investigators responded to the 30700 block of Drummondtown Road in Wachapreague at 10:05 p.m. following reports of a possible arson at a two-story unoccupied structure.
According to a press release from State Police, the structure suffered major fire damage to the rear of the building.
No injuries were reported.
Police say the cause of the fire is under investigation but has not yet been officially ruled as arson.
50 fires have been intentionally set on the Eastern Shore since mid-November.
