Space heater blamed for fire

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach fire crews responded to a house fire in the 1200 blk. of Brookhill Court Monday morning.
A space heater placed to close to combustibles in the home's garage is what started the blaze, according to Tim Riley with the Virginia Beach Fire Department. The fire has been ruled accidental.
No one was injured in the fire, however three people were displaced.
