PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Wednesday will mark one year since Norfolk police officer Victor Decker was killed outside a Virginia Beach nightclub.

On Saturday, family and friends came together to remember him and raise money.

Motorcycle riders got up bright and early, and rolled into Bayside Harley in Portsmouth for a Poker Run.

Their goal was to raise money for the Victor Decker Memorial Fund and to add to the reward fund for the capture of his killer.

"It's surreal, it's just, it hits home. It hits home for a lot of these guys here, a lot of former police officers, a lot of current police officers riding, a lot of family," said event organizer Michael Thompson.

Participants stopped at several bars across Hampton Roads.

Victor Decker's case remains unsolved.
