SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk police are investigating a series of burglaries that they believe are related, all in the Nansemond Parkway area, since November 2009.
Police say about six of the burglaries have taken place in the 1100-1900 block of Nansemond Parkway. The majority of burglaries took place when the victims were away from their homes for an extended period of time. Police say in most of the cases the thieves used the back door to gain entry into the homes.
Police say electronic items, such as laptops and gaming systems were stolen, as well as items such as jewelry and guitars.
If you have any information on these cases you are asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
