NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The second of three eggs hatched sometime after midnight on Saturday, March 13. According to the garden, a pip hole was seen on Friday, indicating the hatching was imminent.
The first hatching occurred on Thursday, March 11.
The three eggs were laid on January 31st, February 3rd and February 6th. The first egg was laid in a snow filled nest.
This is the seventh year this pair of bald eagles has nested at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.
