YORKTOWN, Va. (WAVY) - The Coast Guard and Virginia Marine Resource commission located a father and his 7-year-old son near Yorktown.
Brandyn Hill with the Coast Guard says the father, 31, and his son were reported overdue on a personal watercraft shortly after 6 p.m. Friday. Hill says an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew located the two aground in a marsh around 8 p.m.
The two were uninjured and were rescued by a boatcrew to the Gloucester Point boat ramp.
