PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Portsmouth firefighters are still trying to find out what sparked a house fire on Augustine Circle, just off Twin Pines Road near the Chesapeake City Line.
Investigators say the family came home around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning and saw smoke.
Fire officials say the fire was contained to the attic area. Crews were able to contain the fire within about 15 minutes.
No one was hurt.
The American Red Cross is helping the family of seven find a temporary place to stay.
