RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The earthquake that shook Virginia has not halted primary voting.

Susan Pollard of the Virginia Board of Elections said her staff is still checking with localities, but so far, all polling places appear to be operational.

Scattered House and Senate primaries are under way Tuesday in Virginia.

Pollard said some polling places in Louisa County, near the epicenter of the earthquake, are on generator power. Registrars in several precincts have moved voting outside.
