PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - A Portsmouth night club is in hot water with the ABC board over questions about its liquor license.
The owners of the Mansion Allure , operating under the name Brutti's East, LLC, admitted guilt for failure to report changes in officers, directors or shareholders, according to Robert O'Neal, Director of Hearings and Appeals and Chief Administrative Law Judge at the state department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
The owners also admitted guilt to a charge stating the person holding the license was not the legitimate owner of the business, according to O'Neal.
The owners agreed to pay a $1,000 penalty and apply for a new license Thursday, according to O'Neal. There will be a one year probationary period.
Meanwhile, neighbors in Olde Towne Portsmouth say parking and noise around the business is affecting their quality of life.
