PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - The fight against proposed tolls brought dozens of motorcyclists out to Portsmouth Saturday morning. They revved up their engines and took off from Bayside Harley Davidson for a Poker Run to raise money for the toll fight.

The group "Citizens for Accountability" is against putting tolls on the midtown and downtown tunnels. The group filed a lawsuit to try and stop the proposed tolls before they start.

"If we don't stop the tolls, they're going to have them in January 2014. If you're frustrated now going through the midtown and downtown tunnels, you're going to be paying $2 to be frustrated. I don't know about you, but that's not the way I want to live," event organizer Coleman Young said.

The poker run ended with music, food and a silent auction at Big Woody's in Chesapeake. All proceeds go to the citizen groups legal fees.
