HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Police seized $8,400 worth of suspected Spice from a business in Hampton on Tuesday.
Police received an anonymous tip last week that Outer Edge Gifts, located in the 100 block of N. King Street, was selling the drug, according to Hampton Police Department spokesman Cpl. Jason Price.
An undercover officer went in the business over the weekend and bought the Spice, according to Price.
A search warrant was served Tuesday and police seized a total of 842 grams of the substance.
The Spice will be taken to lab to determine if it has the illegal chemical in it.
In addition, Price said a small amount of marijuana was recovered. The clerk that had it was released with a summons.
