NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - State troopers seek the driver of a car who struck and killed a motorcyclist on Interstate 564 early Saturday morning.
State Police spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Anaya said the a 50-year-old motorcyclist laid down his 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle while exiting the interstate on the southbound Terminal Boulevard ramp. The driver, James W. Keith, Jr., fell off the bike around 2 a.m.
Another motorcyclist riding with Keith stopped to help him up. At that time, a dark-colored, four-door car ran Keith over and kept going, Anaya said. Medics pronounced Keith dead at the scene.
Anaya described the vehicle as a 2005 to 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. Anyone with information about the accident should call State Police.
