Police: Student brought knife to school

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk police tell WAVY.com a 16-year-old Turlington Woods High School student brought a knife to school Wednesday.

The knife was discovered after another student alerted school officials, according to Debbie George with the Suffolk Police Department. George said the student did not make any threats with the knife, but will face charges.

The student faces possible weapons charges.
