SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A man suffered injuries after losing control of his motorcycle while exiting Rt. 58 at Wilroy Road Saturday afternoon.
Nightingale Air Ambulance flew the driver to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where doctors list him in serious condition.
Suffolk Police identified the driver as James Lee Copeland, 25, of the 1200 block of Sierra Drive. Police said Copeland crashed at 1:15 p.m.
The crash threw Copeland from his motorcycle, sending him underneath a guard rail. He became pinned between the guard rail and the handlebars of his bike, police said.
The accident remains under investigation.
