NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Newport News Police are investigating their second homicide in one week.
Just after 12:30 a.m. police received a call of a shooting at 723 Adams Drive in the Pinedale Manor Apartments .
Newport News Police Public Information Officer, Holly McPherson tells WAVY.com that Quwontrell Demetrius Miles, 25, of the 500 block of Adams Dr. was shot more than once in the upper body.
Miles was pronounced dead on the scene.
At this time there is no known motive or suspects.
