NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police have arrested and charged a suspect wanted for robbing several people in areas near Naval Station Norfolk over the past several months.
Officers arrested Michael B. Wayne of the 400 block of Peppermill Lane on March 1 for multiple robberies to individuals that occurred primarily in the 7700 block of Hampton Boulevard and the 7500 block of Tidewater Drive.
Police charged Wayne with abduction-extort money, possession of a controlled substance, and three counts of robbery. He remains in custody in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
