WINDSOR, Va. (WAVY) - The Isle of Wight's Sheriff's Office is investigating a case where a 15-year-old girl was allegedly tied to a tree and then covered in eggs and beer.
Sheriff's deputies responded to Big Bear Campground, located at 7652 Whispering Pines Trail in Windsor, and were told that the teen was tied to a tree using ratchet straps. The incident occurred around April 27, 2012. Deputies say that while she was tied to a tree, the teen had eggs thrown at her and beer poured over her.
The Isle of Wight Country Department of Social Services initiated the investigation, and sheriff's deputies determined that during this time, the teen was held against her will and that the girl's family members were responsible for the incident.
