NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A woman who was struck by a train Saturday morning in Norfolk suffered only minor injuries, according to police.
Around 10:30 a.m. Norfolk police and emergency crews responded to the 200 block of East Little Creek Road after a woman was reportedly struck by a train.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a woman suffering from a minor injury to her shoulder. She was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the incident and are trying to determine what led up to the accident.
