NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Homicide investigators are looking for a vehicle of interest in connection with a deadly shooting and robbery at a Norfolk barber shop about two weeks ago. Eighty-six-year-old Henry McIntosh was shot and killed during the incident.
Police have released a photo (pictured left) of the vehicle they're looking for. Police say the vehicle was captured on Project Focus surveillance cameras shortly after the murder took place.
The vehicle is believed to be a gold 2002 to 2005 Pontiac Grand-Am, four-door sedan.
Police have described the suspect they're looking for as a 25 to 35-year-old black male, 5-feet-8-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall, 140 to 160 pounds, with a mustache and beard. He wore a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a white tank top, jeans that were frayed at the bottom of the pant leg and low-cut tennis shoes. The suspect also carried a black tote bag.
A composite sketch of the suspect can be seen to the left of this story.
Anyone with information on this shooting or the vehicle is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
