NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - On Monday, Tidewater Community College (TCC) launched a shuttle service for students.
The shuttle will take students around TCC campuses in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach.
"This bus will help me to be able to better myself, because I'll be able to take more classes that they provide at Virginia Beach or Chesapeake or Norfolk. So this bus will really help me to be able to do what I need to do to graduate," said Ashley, a student from TCC.
The first two weeks are free, but after September 9, the shuttle will cost $3 per ride. The shuttle will run Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and evenings on Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
