Services announced for slain ODU student

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Congressman Elijah E. Cummings' office has announced services for his nephew, who was killed last week in an apparently random shooting in Norfolk near Old Dominion University.

A public viewing for 20-year-old Christopher Cummings, son of the congressman's brother, will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the March Funeral Home - West in Baltimore.

The viewing will continue Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The family will attend the viewing from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.

A wake will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Victory Prayer Chapel in Baltimore. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday.
