NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Residents are still not allowed back in their homes after a serial arsonist set five fires inside the Rotunda building in downtown Norfolk.
The string of fires began Jan. 25 and the most recent fire occurred the evening of Feb. 1.
According to Norfolk Fire Department spokesman Harry Worley, they are waiting on the electrical engineer's report and the safety and security plan from the Rotunda owners and management company.
There was no cut off date for the reports.
Crews are working to make repairs at the building.
The investigation is ongoing.
