NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police have arrested one suspect and identified two others in a shooting that claimed the life of a 22-year-old man Saturday morning.

Norfolk Police received a call just after 3 a.m. Saturday of a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds in the 800 block of E. Princess Anne Rd. Neighbors told WAVY.com that the victims were mother and son.

Medics pronounced the male victim, 22-year-old Christopher Wilson, dead at the scene. The female suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested Maurice Hyman, 22, of the 1400 block of Lois Lane, in connection with the shooting. He has been charged with one count of attempted robbery and one count of use of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to police spokesperson Karen Parker-Chesson.

Police have secured warrants for two other suspects in the homicide. Both Charles Duynes, 29, of the 500 block of East Brambleton Ave., and Ricky Riden, 27, of the 1000 block of Mapole Ave., face charges for murder, attempted robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the case to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
