Tickets sell out for Obama NSU event

Event is free; tickets required

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - President Barack Obama will be campaigning at Norfolk State University on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

The event, which is scheduled to begin around 12:30 p.m., will be held at the Madison Hall Quad. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

Tickets were being distributed at a first-come, first-served basis at the following locations until 7 p.m. Monday:

  • Obama For Virginia - Norfolk Field Office
    100 W. 20th Street
    Norfolk, Va. 23517
  • Norfolk State University
    McDemmond Center for Applied Research
    555 Park Ave.
    Norfolk, Va.
    23504

Tickets were also available online at this link: http://www.barackobama.com/va/

They were all dispersed by 8 a.m. Tuesday.
