NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Following a mental evaluation, a man accused of murdering his neighbor and his former girlfriend has been found competent to stand trial.

Jamiel Graves was charged in November with the murder of his next-door neighbor Phylicia Robinson, found in Graves' apartment in the 9300 block of Marlow Avenue Nov. 27. Graves' former girlfriend, Mandi Myers was found dead in her apartment the day before.

Graves is facing charges of second degree murder, grand larceny of a motor vehicle and grand larceny of a firearm in Myers' death and murder in Robinson's death.

Graves is due in court in April for a preliminary hearing.
