NORFOLK, (WAVY) - A man was shot and killed in Norfolk early Sunday morning, resulting in the arrest of one suspect and a manhunt for another.
Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Department said officers received a reports of a gunshot victim around 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Nicholson Street and Whitaker Lane.
When they arrived, thy found a man suffering gunshot wounds. Amos said he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Brashawn Darryl-Lee Davis, Sr.
Police arrested Dewanna Shantia Walker, 31, of the 600 block of Tidewater Drive in connection to the shooting. She was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder and remains in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
A second suspect, Devin Stephon Walker, 33, of the 3200 block of Perone Avenue, remains on the loose. Police have secured warrants against Walker for murder, malicious wounding, use of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and unlawful flight.
